*은퇴 후 삶이 진짜 인생이다. 늦다고 생각할 때가 가장 빠른 법.

  1. 하루가 시작되자마자 곧 해가 진다.
  2. 어제가 월요일 같은데 벌써 금요일이다..
  3. 새해인가 싶더니 연말이고 또 한 해가 가버린다. 내 인생의 40년, 50년, 60년이 흘렀다. 부모님은 벌써…친구들도 순서 없이 떠난다. 시간을 되돌리기엔 너무 늦었다.
  
  그럼, 지금부터는…
  
  4. 남은 인생만큼은 나답게 살아야겠다. 내가 지금 정말 원하는 것을 하는 것이다. 그것은 작지만 진심으로 원했던 것이므로 먼저 내 가슴으로부터 환영받을 것이다.
  5. 남은 시간 내내 조용히 그러나 신나게 사는 거다. 이는 물론 나에게도 남에게도 다 이로운 것이다.
  6. 그렇다. 이제 더 이상 미룰 여유가 없다. 이제껏 내 삶은 남이 만든 울타리 안의 삶이었다. 이제는 내 인생은 내가 만든 울타리 안에서 살 것이다. 나에게 주어진 몫이 그곳에 있기 때문이다.
  
  7. 더 미루면 마지막 열정마저 곧 식어 버린다. 삶의 우선순위가 바뀌게 된다. 나만의 매력을 발휘할 기회를 놓친다. 내 건강은 더 이상 나를 지켜주기 않는다. 마침내 가장 사랑하고 믿었던 주변 사람들로부터 온기없는 체온과 차가운 시선을 느낀다. 그때야 후회한다. 이미 늦었다.
  8. 더 이상 자신을 위해서든 남을 위해서든 지금이 아닌 미래를 위해 남겨 둔다는 것은 별 의미가 없다. 빨리 깨달을수록 좋다. 감춰진 나의 참 모습을 보기 위한 마지막 기회이다. 남은 열정으로 멋과 향기를 되살려 참나를 마무리하는 것이다.
  9. 내 인생의 마지막 기회를 놓치는 것도 잡는 것도 나의 몫이다. 내 의지와 실천력에 달려 있다.
  
  10. 오늘…지금이…바로 그 순간이다. 자연의 질서는 정확하고 공평하다. 우물쭈물할 여유가 없음을 솔직히 인정하고 현실을 받아들이는 것이다. 은퇴 후 삶이 진짜 인생이고 진짜 자유이기 때문이다.

  3. I thought it was the new year, but it's the end of the year and another year is gone. 40, 50, and 60 years of my life have passed. My parents are already...Friends also leave without order. It's too late to turn back time.

  4. I should live the rest of my life actively as myself. I will live the life I want. I need to know what I really wanted to do. It can be a small but meaningful thing. It makes me truly pleased with in my heart.
  5. I will enjoy my life peacefully for the rest of the time. I know it's good not only for myself but also for others.
  6. That's right. Now I can't afford to postpone any more. If my life has lived in a fence built by others, now I'll enjoy the share given to me in the fence I made. It's also good for others after all.
  
  7. If I postpone it any longer, my last passion will cool down. The priorities of my life will change. The charm of my life will fade away. My health won't protect me anymore. Then people around me who I loved and trusted the most will be cold against me. It'll be too late, if I regret it then.
  8. It's silly to leave my own share for the future, not now. The sooner I realize it, the better. It's the last chance to see my hidden true self. It is to bring back the style and scent with the remaining passion and finish the true me.
  9. To miss or seize the last chance of my life, which is still faint, depends on my will and practical power.
  
  10. Today…Right now… It's that moment. The providence and order of nature are strict, accurate, and fair. The moment I honestly admit and accept that I can't afford to hesitate anymore, because life after retirement is real life and real freedom.
