태국여행 1일차:
  
  요즘 공항이 붐빈다고, 3시간 전부터 오라고 항공사에서 문자 왔습니다. 성미 급한 저는 짐꾼과 함께 4시간 전부터 왔습니다.^^
  
  보딩 패스 받고, 바트화 조금 환전하고, 친구는 유심 대신 로밍하고, 출국 수속 밟고, 출국장으로 들어왔습니다.
  
  식사 안 주는 저가 항공사니까 저녁 먹으러 공항 식당에 갔습니다. 14일은 한식 먹기 힘드니, 비빔밥과 순두부 백반 먹고…
  
  이제 보딩 기다리며 공항을 둘러 봅니다. 기다리는 사람 보니, 거의 만석인 것 같습니다. 2년 6개월 만에 비행기를 타네요. 감격~~~
  
  인천공항 풍경, 사람은 늘었지만 아직 문 열지 않은 상점들이 많네요.

  중국의 대만상공 무력시위로 1시간 연착해서, 현지 시간 1시, 우리 시간 3시에 도착했습니다.
  
  입국 심사대에 도착해보니 의외로 한산합니다. 이 공간에서 1~2시간씩 줄서고, 세계여행자들이 북적였는데…덕분에 신속하게 열 손가락 지문 등록하고, 사진 찍고, 입국장 통과했습니다.
  
  한밤에 시내로 이동하는 것도 부담되서, 그냥 공항에 있기로 했습니다. 제가 개인적으로 선호하는 자리. 공항 경찰사무실 앞 의자. 그곳이 한적하기도 하고, 그러면서도 경찰사무실 앞이니 안전할 것도 같고…그런데 그 근처에 새로이 편의점이 생겨서, 주변에 사람들이 늘었습니다.^^
  
  우리도 그 편의점에서 요구르트 음료, 물을 사서 마시고, 잠시 졸다, 여행 가방 정리도 하고, 충전도 하고, 세수하고…그러다 보니 현지 시간 6시가 되서 지하에 있는 단골 푸드코트로 밥 먹으러 갔습니다. 저희 부부의 태국 여행의 시작과 끝을 담당하던 곳이어서, 여행 못 가며 그리워하던 곳입니다.
  
  여전히 문 열었는데, 내부 인테리어를 새로 했고, 가격은 3년 전에 비해 10~20% 상승했습니다. 저희는 덮밥, 죽, 쏨땀을 먹었는데, 합해서 140밧, 우리 돈 5600원. 저는 올랐다고 말하는데, 함께 간 친구는 우리나라랑 비교하니 싸다고 합니다.^^
  
  그 많던 서양 여행객은 소수만 보이고, 인도 여행자와 한국인이 많고…한국 단체여행객도 약간만 보이는…태국의 관광도 우리와 마찬가지로 엄청 무너졌구나 하는 실감… 그러면 일일 투어 같은 것도 급격하게 축소되어 있을 텐데…저희의 여행계획을 수정해야 할지도 모르겠다는 생각이 듭니다.
  
  아침 식사 후 공항에서 차 한잔 마시고 쉬다가 기차역으로 이동하려고 합니다^^ 오후에 치앙마이행 기차를 타려고 예약해 두었습니다. 강행군입니다^^

  Day 1 of my trip to Thailand
  
  Arriving at Incheon International Airport
  
  The airline texted me to come to the airport three hours ago, saying that the airport is crowded these days. I arrived at the airport four hours ago in a hurry. Of course, my husband came to the airport with me.^^
  
  My friend joined us, too. I got a boarding pass first, exchanged some baht, and my friend roamed instead of USIM. We went through the departure procedure, and came into the departure hall.
  
  We went to the airport restaurant for dinner because our airline is a low-cost airline that doesn't give us meals. Thinking it will be difficult to eat Korean food for 14 days during our trip, so we ate bibimbap and soft tofu rice bowl.
  
  We're now looking around the airport waiting for boarding. Looking at the people waiting in the waiting room for Bangkok, it seems to be almost full. Well, for me, it's been 2 years and 6 months since I got on a plane last. I'm so excited just like a beginner.
  
  The number of passengers at Incheon Airport has increased a lot, but there are still many stores that are not open yet.

  Our plane was delayed by an hour due to China's armed protests over Taiwan. We arrived in Bangkok at 1 a.m. local time.
  
  When we arrived at the immigration office, it was surprisingly quiet. Before the pandemic, the hall was usually lined up for one to two hours, and world travelers were crowded. And of course, thanks to that, we quickly registered ten-fingerprints, took pictures, and passed the arrival hall.
  
  We decided to stay at the airport for safety instead of moving downtown at night. This was a very preferred place for me and my husband. This is in front of the airport police office and there are many chairs. It's quiet, and it's in front of the police office, so I think it's safe. But there's a new convenience store around here that wasn't there before, and there are more people around^^
  
  We also bought yogurt drinks and water at the convenience store, dozed off for a while, organized our suitcases, recharged, and washed our face. At 6 o'clock local time, we went to a regular food court in the basement to eat. This restaurant was always used by my husband and I when we arrived in Thailand and left Thailand. That's why I often missed this place.
  
  This restaurant was still open. It has a new interior, and the price has increased by 10 to 20 percent compared to three years ago. We ate rice bowl, porridge, and traditional Thai food, Somtam. The total cost of meals is 140 baht (5600 won). I say the price has gone up, but my friend says it's cheaper compared to Korea^^
  
  There are only a few Western tourists, but there are many Indian travelers and Koreans instead. There were also only a few Korean group tourists. I realized that Thailand's tourism industry has been greatly reduced like Korea. It seems that products such as daily tours will also be drastically reduced. Therefore, I think we may have to change our travel plans a little.
  
  We are going to have a cup of tea at the airport after breakfast, rest for a while, and then move to Bangkok train station.^^ Since I've already booked the train tickets to Chiang Mai, so there's no problem. But I think it's kind of a hard schedule.^^
