  나는 세계 여행 중 비교적 많은 사람들과 대화를 나눈다. 최근 우즈벡을 포함 타지키스탄과 카자흐스탄을 다녀왔다. 여행 중 만난 이스라엘 여성과 지하철에서 잠시 나눈 얘기 중에는 이탈리아의 여성 편력(遍歷)으로 유명한 총리에 대한 것도 있었다. 그 총리는 우리가 그에 대한 얘길 하는 순간에도 분명히 살아 있었다.
  
  얼마 전 6월 12일, 실비오 베를루스코니 전 이탈리아 총리가 서거(逝去)했다. 불과 며칠 사이 나는 산 자와 죽은 자를 본 셈이다. 누구나 그러하듯 그분에게도 공과(功過)가 있을 것이다. 나는 그분이 30여 년 전에 남긴 말 가운데 이 말을 자주 생각한다. "세상이 그토록 속기를 바라니 그냥 속도록 내버려 둬라."
  
  그가 말한 세상에는 한국도 포함될 것이다. 아니 한국인을 꼭 집어 한 말인 것 같다. 한국인은 세계 최고의 IQ(눈치)를 가졌고, 역시 세계 최고의 학력을 가졌다는 것이 세상에 공포(公布)됐기 때문이다. 그런데도 한국인은 세상에서 거짓과 선동(煽動)에도 가장 잘 속는 국민이다. 이 역시 세상에 이미 알려진 것이어서 그가 모를 리 없었다. 창피하지만, 중학교만 나와도 다 알 수 있는 말도 안 되는, 유치하기 짝이 없는 거짓과 선동과 위선을 명색이 최고의 IQ에 대학을 나온 자들이 계속 속고 있기 때문이다. 정신이 완전히 병들지 않았다면 절대 있을 수 없는 현상이다. 한국인 석·박사를 포함 대졸자 약 절반이 이에 속한다. 이들은 가짜이다. 진짜와 가짜 즉 정답과 오답 식별(識別)도 못 하면서 대학입학도 하고 졸업도 하고 학위(學位)를 받았기 때문이다.
  
  다음은 전현직(前現職) 대통령과 국회의원, 당 대표, 시장(巿長) 등 고위 공직자들과 사기꾼들이 남긴 새빨간 거짓말들이다.
  
  ☹"미국산 소를 먹으면 뇌에 구멍이 송송 난다." "백령도 천안함 폭침(46명 전사) 원인은 북한 해군 잠수정의 어뢰가 아닌 미국 잠수함의 어뢰다." "경북 성주의 사드에서 나오는 전자파는 참외를 썩게 하고 사람을 튀김으로 만든다." "중국은 높은 산봉우리이고, 한국은 작은 나라다." "한국은 파리, 중국은 말…파리(한국)는 만리(萬里)를 날 수 있지만 홀로 날 수 없기에 말(馬 중국) 궁둥이에 딱 붙어 가면 갈 수 있다"
  
  ☹"후쿠시마 오염수(오염수 아닌 처리수處理水임)를 방류하면 '우리(한국) 어민(漁民)은 다 죽는다." "북한 김정은이 북핵을 포기했다." "북은 핵을 개발한 적도 없고, 개발할 능력도 없다. (만약 북에 핵이 개발된다면) 내가 책임지겠다." "나는 약속은 안 지켰지만, 거짓말을 한 적은 없다." "북한은 체제 안전을 보장받으면 핵 개발을 포기할 것이며 누구를 공격하거나 테러를 위해 핵 개발을 한다고 불 수 없다."
  
  ☹"북한은 핵·미사일을 더 발전시키고 고도화시키는 작업을 포기했다. 미래 핵을 포기하고 그런 조처를 했다고 볼 수 있다. 북한은 완전한 비핵화를 약속했고 이를 위해 여러 실천적 조처를 했다. 핵·미사일 추가 실험을 일절 하지 않겠다고 약속했다. 실제로 작년 11월 이후 도발을 일절 하지 않고 있다" 등등.
  
  하늘나라에 있는 노회(老獪)한 정치인 베를루스코니는 총리를 네 번이나 한 기록의 소유자다. 아마 모르긴 몰라도 그에게 최대 관심사와 흥밋거리는 자기 나라 이탈리아가 아닌 대한민국일 것 같다. 입맛을 쩝쩝 다지며 "흠, 이탈리아 국민이 잘 속아 준 덕택에 나 같은 정치꾼도 네 번이나 총리를 해 먹었지만, 한국인들이라면…. 흠, 평생을…. 누워서 떡먹기겠는데…. 흠, 다시 태어나면 한국에서…. 군침이 도는군…. 쩝쩝..."

  I converse with a lot of individuals during my travels around the globe. I recently traveled to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. During my travels, I spoke briefly with an Israeli woman on the subway about Italian ladies and the Prime Minister, who was well-known for his scandals. He was then still alive.
  
  Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi died not long ago, on June 12. He, like everyone else, must have had his strengths and weaknesses. I frequently think back to one of his comments that he left behind about 30 years ago. "Let the world be fooled because it so desperately wants to be."
  
  Korea would be included in the world he described. I think it was a word meant exclusively against Koreans. It’s because it has been well publicized that Koreans have the highest IQ (quick wit) and the strongest academic basis in the world. Nonetheless, Koreans are the people in the world who are most easily deceived by rumors, fake news and agitation. This, too, was well known to the rest of the world, so he was fully aware of it. Embarrassingly, Koreans with the highest IQs who graduated from college are continuously being tricked by ridiculous dirty lies, incitement, and hypocrisy that they can comprehend even if they just finished middle school. This type of insanity can never occur unless the framework of Korean consciousness is entirely destroyed. This category includes around half of all college graduates, including Korean master's and doctorate degrees. These are forgeries. This is because they went to college, graduated, and obtained degrees without being able to tell the difference between true and false answers.

  Berlusconi, a sly old politician in heaven, holds the record for being prime minister four times. Korea, rather than Italy, may be the country of greatest interest to him.
